Many free services are available to USC students through the support of the Undergraduate Student Government (USG), including funding for individual students and registered student organizations, collaborative programming and marketing opportunities, and the Trojan Food Pantry. In the past, USG has helped kickstart initiatives like the free Lyft program, the Wellness Vending Machine in King Hall, OT100: THRIVE, and the fall break that will occur for the first time this October. Looking toward a new school year, USG has also renewed other critical free resources available for USC students, including:

FREE BLUE BOOKS

USG reminds all USC students about our unlimited supply of free blue books in the USG Office, located in the Tutor Campus Center (TCC), Suite 224. These important materials for quizzes, midterms, and finals are available at the front of the office, Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm.

FREE LEGAL COUNSELING SERVICES

If you have a dispute with your landlord or need someone to explain the difference between LLCs and sole proprietorships, USG is here for you. Your undergraduate and graduate student governments have partnered together to provide legal counseling services every Monday from 4pm to 9pm in the USG Office, TCC 224. Free 30-minute appointments can be booked by calling USG at (213)-740-5620, or by walk-in signups.

FREE SUBSCRIPTIONS TO THE NEW YORK TIMES

The New York Times is one of the most-read publications in the world, winning more Pulitzer prizes than any other news organization, and remains No. 1 in overall reach of U.S. opinion leaders. USG believes the leaders of tomorrow should have access to the news of today. USG is excited to continue partnering with the NYT to provide free, year-long digital subscriptions.
