The USC Trojan Council
The Trojan Council brings together the Presidents and Vice-Presidents of the Academic Senate, Staff Assembly, Undergraduate and Graduate Student governments of the University of Southern California to discuss and make recommendations regarding issues of common concern. The council meets approximately monthly. It has no independent budget.
The Trojan Council currently organizes one university wide open “University Forum” each semester, to which it invites members of the USC administration, including the President, Provost, Vice President of Student Affairs and Senior Vice President of Human Resources. The forum enables all faculty, staff, and students to raise their concerns, to hear from other members of the USC community, and to work toward our shared goals.

Ronald Tutor Campus Center Ballroom (UPC) and Live Video Conference at Aresty Auditorium (HSC)
Once a semester, the Trojan Council sponsors an open University Forum, to which all students, staff, and faculty are invited to attend. The forum is intended to be a listening session for university leaders to hear from our community. The forum will be held in the Tutor Campus Center on the UPC campus and video-conferenced live to a room on the HSC campus.
We are tentatively planning to get the discussions started by raising four basic topics, including community wellness efforts, effective communication with members of our community, realignment on USC priorities regarding sustainability, and building connections across campuses to promote more accessibility and a more inclusive campus community.
Members of the audience will also be invited to raise other topics that concern them. The goal of this forum is to give our community a chance to be heard about issues that concern them and what they would like administrators, campus leaders, and USC decision-makers to be doing during the upcoming year.
