A group of diverse student leaders with a set of unified goals.

The USC Undergraduate Student Government is the official governing body of the nearly 16,500 undergraduates at USC.  It exists to represent the interests of the students to the administration on campus issues through an extensive programming, committee, and advocacy structure.

The President, the Vice President, and the Senators are popularly elected by the student body in an annual election held in mid-February. A selection committee appoints the Executive Cabinet, Programming Branch, and the Judicial Branch members.

According to the USG Constitution, “all registered undergraduate students at USC shall be members of the Undergraduate Student Government and shall be subject to this Constitution, Bylaws, and Code of Ethics”.

Working with USC administration to represent your interests.

USG’s job is to represent the students of USC to its administration. To do this, we advocate for policy change around campus to improve student life, program educational and entertainment events, pass resolutions to pass on to administration, and fund out students in their various pursuits.

The Student Government is made up of four branches: Legislative (Senate, made up of 12 elected students), Executive (our Advocacy committees and Funding branches), Programming (Program Board consists of specialized committees and assemblies), and Judicial.
