WHO ARE WE?
A group of diverse student leaders with a set of unified goals.
The USC Undergraduate Student Government is the official governing body of the nearly 20,000 undergraduates at the University of Southern California. Through extensive advocacy, legislative, programming, and funding work, we seek to make the undergraduate experience the best it can possibly be.
WHAT DO WE DO?
We work with all kinds of stakeholders across USC – students, staff, faculty, and administrators – in numerous ways.
Advocacy
Working alongside administrators and campus partners to form policy and solve student issues.
Communications
Building a two-way bridge between USG and the student body, media, and registered student orgs.
Funding
Disbursing over $500,000 in funds for research, student orgs, and professional development.
Judicial
Ensuring the values of integrity, professionalism, and transparency in all of USG’s operations.
Legislative
Directly representing student needs and concerns to all of USG and USC through legislation and projects.
Programming
Organizing and executing dozens of entertaining, diverse, and educational events every week.
WHY WORK WITH US?
We are the central organization for student concerns, but we’re also a hub for leadership and mentorship. Learn about what makes us special.

COMMUNITY
USG acts as a central point for all student needs and interests in all aspects of student life, so we aim to promote a cohesive and inclusive environment on campus for all Trojans alike.

DIVERSITY
USG works to change practices, structures, and policies to realize diversity, equity, and inclusion for all stakeholders. We values students and leaders from all backgrounds, communities, and skill sets.

OPPORTUNITY
As the representative body of undergraduate students, we are uniquely positioned to provide vision and leadership of our peers and community through dedication, service, and respect.

LEADERSHIP
We see every challenge and problem as an opportunity to think expansively about solutions. When faced with obstacles, we remain open-minded, adapt our approach, and persist with optimism to make USC a better place to call home.
