USG is here to support student ideas, projects, and initiatives through funding. If you’re interested in getting funding from USG then submit an application! 


Who is eligible to apply?

  • Registered USC students and recognized student organizations who have completed the funding guidelines module are eligible to apply and receive funding

How do I submit an application?

  • Funding is processed through a form inside EngageSC! It’s used by Recognized Student Orgs + USC undergrad students to request funding from the USG Funding department
  • Apps are open once a week on Wednesday until 11:59pm

How much funding can I receive? 

  • Maximum of $8k a year per organization from USG  

What is the general timeline for funding?  

  • 8 weeks before event: events involving travel and new USC vendors should be submitted 
  • 6 weeks before event: Applications involving previous USC vendors should be submitted 
  • 3 weeks after submission: should receive an update saying your application has been received
  • Must submit Post Event Eval which is on USG EngageSC page within 3 business days of final day of event (must include pics of event with members)
